I know Cavaliers don't get the best of press on here but i thought i would post mine up anyway and see if anyone likes it.

Its pretty much standard on the outside other than being lowered and having some Astra Coupe alloys fitted, its my daily drive though so although I keep meaning to up the power on it I seem to spend all my cash just maintaining it.

Its a 93 model in diamond black, just passed 132k i've owned it now for just over 3 years with no plans to sell it.

Engine pretty much standard apart from larger intercooler and a boost controller set at 10psi.

Here's a few pics of it from my time with it:

As it stands now:

No rusty chassis legs on this one:

Rear adjustable camber/toe mounts:

Just out of the paint shop:

Locked transfer box:

Wondered what that knock was, close call!

Nice to see a Cav Turbo thats still alive, keep the engine where it should be and not in a Nova / Corsa.

Have a look on www.migweb.co.uk for fellow vauxhall nutters!

Thanks guys, been a member on mig for a while now smile

As for putting the engine in a Nova/Corsa there is no chance of that lol, pointless with 2wd even when the Cav had switchable 4wd/2wd, in 2wd it was awful, I probably would have sold it by now had it not been 4wd.

yes That's a cracking car. My mate used to have a gorgeous silver GSi 4x4, he sold it for a Saab 93 convertible for some strange reason. You've done nice tasteful mods. Glad to hear it's a keeper.

Nice, as has already been said good to see one still being cared for. I have a soft spot for these as the GSi was the first quick car I drove back about 10 years ago. I still hanker after a blue one, sadly finding one in good shape is becoming increasingly hard!frown

Yeah pictures were taken at Rainford Junction, you local?

Agree with the above aswell about GSi/Turbo's becoming very hard to find with intact chassis legs.
