I used to sell them and had a mk1 240 sport as a co car. Have driven the mk2, found is a tad vague, but its not designed as an out and out sports car. Those wheels finish the car off nicely though.

I'd agree with what you say about it not being an out and out sports car. It's a jack of all trades really, great over long distances and good fun down the twisties, just not the ultimate at either. But then that suits me.

I did think about white, but was concerned come re-sale time. I don't see Silver going out of fashion, whereas white could be a short-lived fad.

Looks great especially with those wheels. TBH siver on german cars is usually best, what with it being their national racing colour (like BRG here, but more popular).
