After a couple of years of reading the forums now and then, I finally decided to sign up today. I've been into cars for as long as I can remember and the last two years I've got into my Peugeots.

Just by chance I came across a white 106 Rallye, which I spontaneously bought and absolutley loved. I did Lands End to John O'Groats and a trip to the Peugeot factory in Mulhouse, via the Nurburgring and Reims in it too.

Just last month I set out to upgrade to a GTi6, and after a while of searching I found something else that caught my eye. It was an ex Peugeot press car 306 Rallye, in Bianca White of course!

Yet again, I had to have it. For someone who said they'd never have a French car or a white car I'm not doing very well.

Anyway, here's some pics of the 306 smile

And a couple of pics of the 106

And both of mine together with my brother's black 106 Rallye

If I'm honest, I will say the 106 is the looker of the pair, but I do love the 306 to drive - it certainly feels a step up in terms of comfort and build quality! Just got to get the 306 up to the same standard I got the 106 now biggrin

Oh don't get me wrong, the 306 is gorgeous and I can completely understand the upgrade. There's just something about the 106 though, it just looks so 'right'. I even love the boggo gti, cracking cars, such a shame they've been ruined by the maxpower brigade...

Great cars. The bonus with ex Press Cars is there are often some cracking photos available. Althought you've changed the plate so they probably lose their impact a little lol

Indeed, the standard look is the best for them. It came a fair way from when I bought it...

I had the original 14" steels on after I got rid of those nasty chromes, but I'd always wanted a set of 306 cyclones on it, and they had to be white!

Yes, this is mine from 10 years ago, front cover of Revs!

It's also been in Autocar and on Driven on Channel 4. Nice to have a bit of history with the car, and something a bit special smile

Fantastic Pair, I was looking for a white 306 rallye a few months back, but there didn't seem to be any decent ones about, but it looks like you got one smile

Have to say, I prefer the 106. But the 306 is pretty nice, too!

I found this one on a club forum, I don't think it was advertised here or Autotrader or such. The only downside is it's done 125k miles, but it has a huge wad of receipts and all the service history, so it's not so bad.
