That is lovely, i'd keep the standard wheels. Older Jap cars are so rarely unmodified that keeping it stock is a nice way to stand out from the crowd! smile

Looks gorgeous. Seems like a shame to modify what could be one of the last unmodified Supras. Great find though and it looks like the ideal base for a big power project car.

How much did that beaut cost you? A bone stock Supra TT is almost a unicorn these days, how does it drive stock? They are still 320bhp + stock, and very torquey, so im sure they can keep a 997 well in check on the right road.

It'll be worth a fortune in the future if you keep it standard, you'll have Toyota wanting to hire it off you to display at shows and all sorts. If you want a modified one then why buy one of the last standard ones left?

Always loved them, such a timeless design. You see far too many in poor repair.

Well done!

I love that car. I am looking at possibly a non turbo very soon (insurance expensive for the TT after my ban). I am going to keep it as Standard as I can, may update the wheels but thats about it. The design is still fresh after 15 years.

Can I ask why when people build all these seriously powerful Supras they always ditch the twin turbos and go for a single turbo instead?? Sorry if its a silly question but logic tells me you would get more power upgrading 2 turbos then just having one????

Lovely car by the way, great wheels. Don't take this the wrong way but I think you should have kept the Monaro that was very very special. I wish I had known you were selling it as I always wanted itwink

Still I'm sure you will create something pretty special with this I look forward to seeing the progress.

People do sometimes upgrade the twins, but I suspect when you are upgrading the whole lot, its just easier to go for one large single.
