Due to a recent addition to my family i needed a bigger car again... lol Having previously had a 2.5 V6 omega i thought id have a wee look for another... first thing i spotted on ebay was a black MV6... just what i wanted before!

Anyways, few emails back and forth and i was off to have a look at it (though id already made my mind up by then lol)... i then picked it up the next day, and here she is...

Black 3.0i MV6 manual, retail spec, with pretty much all the electric toys (except rear blind), cloth interior (ill get the leather at some point), service book fully stamped by vauxhall delearships etc... it needs a wee tidy up, but all in all im more than happy with it!

Also on my ebay travels i ordered a new front grill and some smoked side repeaters...

As said, it does need a few things seeing to, gettin the cambelt done and the leaky rocker cover sorted, and theres a few bits of surface rust needing seeing to etc. I have a few plans for it, mostly subtle... sort out different wheels, lower it a tad, tint the windows, source MV6 leather... just going to be the new daddy cruiser car lol

Looks smart, and you've got a yellow 106 GTi too - nice choices smile.

Looks good. I like those cars, good sleeper potential and a proper rwd luxo-barge. A bit O/T but just out of curiosity, did you have to hire a crane to lift the civic across that high grass?wink

thats where i park the civic, it just clears everything and no more to get it there lol currently for sale though to make way for the MV6 frown

Didn't think you could get the MV6 in a manual except for ex-plod ones? Took a 3.2 elite estate auto in px and it went like the clappers, great fun sideways too. You need an LSD on yours mate, lovely car though....

The MV6 Omega came stock with the automatic gearbox, but had a free option to spec the manual. Very rare for one not to be ex-plod though

You don't see many Omegas on the road nowadays. Didn't the police use them once?. Engine looks like a bit of a beast.

Yea, traffic cops used to use the MV6's with slight changes

clap Lovely Omega! Would love to replace my Elite estate with an MV6, but they're worth so little I'd be mad to sell it. I'm considering lowering mine with PI springs, but unsure as to the quality of the springs.

Theres some lovely examples going for sale just now, alot of people are selling up due to fuel prices. Insurance wise its not to bad tbh, was only £7/month dearer than my 1.5 civic lol

Was lookin at the PI springs, but not too sure on them tbh - heard a few bad stories about PI's quality, so was considerin the full koni set instead... quite a bit dearer though lol
