My £100 Home2Rome Banger
Discussion
Here's my teams Alfa 164 2.0 Lusso which we will be using for our street safari adventure to Rome at the end of September.
As Alfa enthusiasts there was only ever going to be one choice of car for us.
It had to be....
An Alfa....check
A barge.....check
£100........check
Everything still works including AC, All the windows, roof and even has leather seats.
It's good to drive and will hopefully prove reasonably economical. So far we've replaced the NSR Hub as the bearing was shot, given it a service, fixed the sunroof which didn't work when we got it and replaced a dizzy cap and rota arm.
Before we set of we will probably need a couple of tyres and we are going to try and get the cam done which is a bit noisy.

Im going to do one of these banger ralleys one day. Alfas a good choice. Personally Im thinking massive BMW and spend a fortune on juice!.
Thought the budget for most banger ralleys was £300?
That was about the budget for the car, the entry for 4 of us, the sticker pack, routes and guides etc for the S2N a couple of years ago.Thought the budget for most banger ralleys was £300?
