Here's my teams Alfa 164 2.0 Lusso which we will be using for our street safari adventure to Rome at the end of September.

As Alfa enthusiasts there was only ever going to be one choice of car for us.

It had to be....

An Alfa....check
A barge.....check
£100........check

Everything still works including AC, All the windows, roof and even has leather seats.

It's good to drive and will hopefully prove reasonably economical. So far we've replaced the NSR Hub as the bearing was shot, given it a service, fixed the sunroof which didn't work when we got it and replaced a dizzy cap and rota arm.

Before we set of we will probably need a couple of tyres and we are going to try and get the cam done which is a bit noisy.

Cool - where did you buy it from?

I can never find these decent cars for so little money!

A club member wanted shot because it needed some work doing, namely the hub which is expensive, however not so when you are able to get a hub for free!!!spin

Or do as these guys are doing and drive it across Europe. Sounds like a good way to spend £100 to me!

That was about the budget for the car, the entry for 4 of us, the sticker pack, routes and guides etc for the S2N a couple of years ago.

we are allowed to a budget of £100 to buy the car, however can spend as much as well like making it roadworthy etc, etc.

Even considering the work you had to do that's still a really good buy.
I'd love to do a banger rally, just never seem to get round to it.
