Having just completed my Mercedes W124 Project I next turned to my company van and see what we could achieve.

It started life as a 2006 VW T5 Transporter SWB van finished in “Grey Off Road Metallic” Pretty much standard with the double passenger seat option in the front. The idea was to make the Van into something that could be used for business and pleasure.

The first job we did as we were going to use the van as Demonstration vehicle for my Work ( In Car Systems) to show both Audio & Visual equipment.

This consisted of Changing the Radio to a Double Din DVD\Radio\MP3\Ipod\Sat Nav unit and then adding a various array of other pieces to the equation.

The next item on the list was a Remap and upgrading the suspension and then to fit the 20” Ronal Alloys.

Then it was time for the van to go into the body shop to have the subtle kit installed together with the rear seat conversion we had decided to carry out.

And here we have the final result !

I love that - there's something very cool about sporty looking vans. I blame the A Team!

I pity the fool!

does the red carpet bit at the back lift up to reveal some polished Ruger assault rifles?

I like it, except the red VW badge on the front. The chrome looked better, or black might look good.

Even on a run it wouldn't get anywhere near that, VW managed 18mpg which is within tollerances, according to the hand book thats fine round town, but this was a motorway run to London and back rolleyes, they negated to mention that in the report naturally. It stank of un-burnt diesel when you'd follow it, shame they are a good van! No transit mind.......wink

I think that your mates T5 must definately have a problem on a run I can manage 28, mine is running approx 170bhp now and the chip helps alot, But in terms of driving it it is fantastic !

It did but vw would do nothing so its gone now, just a shame somebody else is going to end up with it!
ooh 170bhp in a van,I've heard of it before but it still sounds mental, especially considering the last Transit I drove had 136bhp and that went like stink!

The ides of the screen that is flushed into the side panel is when I go to show's I can remove the middle 2 seats and allow people passing by to see a picture too.
