Yeh that's what I thought, I'm a bit slow with pics, I've only done it once before a few months back so I had to edit, delete, etc!

Thanks! Not a 328i, just a lowly 318is but it is a pretty good car for what it is and is very cheap to run!

I've had it since February - see my profile and blog for expenses to date!

I am pleased to say that so far I haven't had to replace anything major on it in terms of breakdowns, but I am just waiting for the day!

To be fair, it has been a very well looked after example (it is on it's 3rd set of front EDC dampers and is 'only' 129,000 miles old!), and now I have it, it will do only c.5000 miles per year - although, I am finding it hard not to drive because it's just so good!
The sound, the pace, the chassis gets better the faster you go, even the standard brakes are pretty good for real world driving!
It's a peach of a car is the E34!

So she is returning figures in the 30-35mpg range (calculated, there isn't an OBC). It's a good car to run as it hardly depreciates, is cheap to insure, and so far its only needed one service a year. Even the tyres have been brilliant, getting on for 20,000 miles and only half worn!
Admittedly when I bought the car, I spent a few quid on it, but only because it had been used very sparingly by the previous owner, and so a few perishables had perished!

Thats about the same as mine got - once got it up to 40mpg on a longer run, typically low 30s. The tyres hardly wore - they had about 10k on them when I sold it, and looked as good as new.
