If I were to get a new hatch, I think this is what I'd go for... not just the car... but that colour.
That or the Yellow metallic one.
How does she drive?
I hadn't set out to buy a "hot-hatch", ideally I'd have loved a 2 seater coupe of some variety (I still fancy a Z4M at some point!) but practicalities meant something that can carry a few people and all the other stuff... That or the Yellow metallic one.

Im really enjoying it so far tbh. I've only done 160 odd miles in it so far but I might be going to Goodwood in the morning (Supercar Sunday!) so that should get a few more on there. Handling is superb and its got quite a surprising amount of grunt.

Hi Jon! I didn't realise you were on here too. Are you going to the WSR thing next week? Be good to meet you and say hello if you are.deviant said:
Is the ride quality and refinement as harsh as the magazines make out?
Not at all to be honest. The car I test drove was a bit bumpy from what I recall but my car doesnt seem too bad at all. Sure, its firm but its not crashy in the slightest. Driving on the motorway was perfectly fine and even on the pot-holed b roads around where I live it seems surprisingly compliant. qooqiiu said:

Modern cars seem to look so good in white. Not all, I admit but yours certainly looks great. Very nice interior too
Until the camera pans round to the dash..I like though, much cooler than a ST or VXR.

The dashboard could be better, I'll agree there. But with regard to comparisons between the ST and the VXR, save that for another thread please. It's been debated time and time again on PH so go dig one of those up. You prefer the ST from the look of it, I prefer the R26. There we go, everyone's happy.
furry muff like fair enough im sure it is a good car as most mags rated them highly. a friend of mine was thinking about one but the dash and cockpit finished it for him and he bought a leon cupra r. be aware though due to the frenchness to change a headlight bulb requires removing the front bumper. clever stuff. can only imagine what needs doing to change the clutch. seriously though they could have profiled down the rear end to look a bit better somehow surely. do like the seats though and think its a good looking car from the front and looks good in white with the dark wheels. like the pearlescent yellow too but couldnt deal with that every morning. potatoes potaatoes.
