Afternoon Guys,
Just started reading this forum a few weeks ago, but i've been on the site on and off for a few years filled with pipe dreams of what i'm "gonna buy" next!

I've spent most of the afternoon reading stuff in the Pie and Piston and im liking what i've seen.

So I thought i'd post up my motor and say hello!

Pics are from a small Ford meet we had a couple of months ago on the northcoast of Antrim VERY near Dunluce castle and the infamous Bushmills.

Not much of a spec on the Focus, but i'll list it none the less smile

2002 Focus Zetec 1.8 16v, ST170 breathing mods, K&N Drop in Filter, OBX Shorty Manifold, Rearbox replaced with Magnex twinexip pipe, 30mm lowering on ford supplied Eibach springs, ST150 fiesta alloys, ST170 headlamps and lower grill. 90% Colour coded.
RR's at 136 BHP without the new manifold, so im hoping that will provide a litte more torque lower down.

Thats all for now and thanks for having me!

Niall

Nice colour.
Like the OEM+ look.
Is that a Starlet at your Ford meet?

lol Yeah its a GlanzaV that came with the Silver MP3 that you may be able to see in the background!

Rapid wee bugger too.

Cheers for the OEM+ comment, its exactly what I like the most! With just a subtle twist smile

Lovely motor! The basic shape of the 3-door is soooo good that too many mods ruin it for me.. and your mods are just about perfect, being so subtle. (If it were mine, I'd have the wheels in a lighter colour, but that's the only thing I'd change.) Very handsome car, nice one!

Lovely car mate. I'm biased, but I much prefer the old shape focus to the newer ones.

Never liked that colour much, but it looks great with those subtle mods - clear indicators and dark wheels. Nice one smile

Don't go spoiling it now with any Lexus lights biggrin

Indeed.
Can you get all red rears for a Focus?

The American spec lights might work - they don't have any orange on them, just a white reverse light at the bottom, which you might be able to make into an indicator?

Something a bit different would be these...

Similar to the US spec tail lights but LED's

Definitely worth doing as a mod, i loved my old focus, Pepper Red is a great colour when its clean, quite similar to the colour of my BMW.

The focus is an excellent little car, and looks fantastic (as has already been said) with a bit of OEM+ tampering. nice one!!

You can make your own!!!

justt tint the stock unit. Use a green bulb and it still flashes orange.
