Lovely Fabia...
Discussion
Hey, wondering if you nice people could help me
Was looking at a gorgeous Skoda Fabia a while back on PH, in the classifieds, but Dad said that i wasn't allowed to buy a car at that point
But now the time has come, and I've been trawling the web to find what bodykit and alloys this Fabia has.
Could anyone shed some light on this for me?!!!
Thanks

Fabias are lovely to drive - the VW influence seems to have made it across in the handling too
Although i imaging once it gets lowered and I've whacked on alloys as big as the ones in the pics, it might be a different story!!
You say that like it's a good thing.Although i imaging once it gets lowered and I've whacked on alloys as big as the ones in the pics, it might be a different story!!
If it has inherited the handling characteristics from small VWs, it'll wallow, understeer, crash over the slightest imperfection in the road and have steering that appears to be connected to the front wheels with bungee cords.

I believe the Fabia has a different sort of power steering set up to the Polo, which explains why it's a bit better, but apparently not a great deal. The chassis itself is relatively good. Apparently, Skoda have changed the characteristics of the suspension to make the vRS more understeery than the rest of the range.
Head on over to www.briskoda.net for some advice. They might be able to help you.
That body kit is lovely. I'd have that, with a set of vRS alloy wheels. Maybe not white though.
