Hey everyone,

Newbie to the site here, I think this is my first post! I'm a big time petrol head and at the moment I drive a Cooper S. I'm on quite a few MINI forums and club sites local to me, so some of you may have seen my car before, but here are some pics...

It was a pretty high spec MINI when new.. under the bonnet the only modification I've done so far is a GTT Cold Air Induction Kit.. it makes the supercharger scream rather well!!

Anywhoo, I'm off to browse at some of the cars on here, hope you all like my motor!

Serby.

Cheers guys! smile

My plate has only ever been on MINI's.. I have had a few of them though..

Yeah, as soon as I saw this car I was suprised at how unique it looked, not only with it being Pure Silver, but with it having the body coloured roof too biggrin I think its a colour scheme which works pretty well! Just to make it stand out a little more, its got a blue interior... I'm still undecided whether the seats make it stand out in a good or bad way though hehe

@911teo - Silver with black stripes, a supercharger too.. almost identical to your car! tongue out Seriously nice car you have there bow

Thanks! smile It is fantastic to drive, the sound of the engine when pushing on is superb, with my setup its pretty much 90% supercharger whine.. and imo you can't get much better than that!biggrin Who needs a radio... tongue out

Nice Mini, if only they weren't so common like the older ones.

I know, tell me about it frown I remember when I first got one when they were new and a novelty, owners use to wave and all that, just like the classic owners... I had a Mini Classic Cooper Sport 500 before I entered the new mini scene, and nothing could replicate the sense of enthusiasm whenever you spotted a fellow classic.

Here are some pictures.. it was registered late on a '51 plate, and absolutely fantastic. The car was tuned up to around 90bhp and was awesome on the twisties!! I had to sell though as I needed something more practical..

(I fitted clear rear lights, torpedo mirrors, a K&N induction kit etc.. but can't seem to find any pictures... Also please excuse the dodgy photoshopping on the bumper in the second pic)

A video of the car can be found here > http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=BIZBvCFfxDA

If only I could have kept it and saved it for one of the cars in my 'dream garage' smile

VERY NICE! I saw hundreds of mini's on Sunday on my way back from Brighton. Mainly classics, but some new ones too.

Hey guys, thanks for the comments! My Classic Mini was loads of fun, but I couldn't look after it as well as I would have liked to and needed a more everyday car, otherwise I probably would still have it!

Here are a few more up to date pictures. I've done a few minor modifications which include a Silver + Black Viper striped intercooler cover, LED rear lights and some upgraded halo's on the front.

I don't have many more plans for the exterior, so the next focus will be on more engine mod's biggrin

Thanks guys.

It has just ticked over 50,000 miles and it is even better to drive than when I first got it. Mainly due to the fact that I have had a couple of engine parts replaced under warranty, those parts being the air bypass valve and the crank pulley.

Luckily I bought it second hand from a main dealer, so despite its mileage and age ('03), I have 1 years warranty.

I'm itching to get started on performance modifications as the S lump is pretty easily tunable. For around £500-800 fitted it's possible to get upwards of 220bhp.

It still seems quick to me as standard though, so I'm leaving that for another day biggrin

Cheers for the comments smile

Thats a lovely S in silver with those wheels.

I really really regret not getting an MCS as a company car back in February.

Got a 118d instead.

Cheers mate. Externally the alloys (which I had on a previous MINI) are the only major external mod I've done, I think they transform the look of the car.

Not a bad choice with the 118d though! Especially with the fuel economy of the first generation S, like mine, which isn't too great. I probably get around 25mpg on a weeks mixed driving. The new new MINI is a fair bit more fuel efficient, especially the D, but they just don't have the supercharged scream .. cloud9

Here is an attempt at a more 'arty' picture..
