VXR rattle/noise?

My brother's just bought a 57 plate Corsa VXR with 5000 miles on. Quite often whilst driving an annoying noise/rattle comes from what sounds like the offside wheel arch/side panel area.
It tends to happen on some bumpy surfaces or when cornering but not all the time.
Does anyone else have this on their own VXR or have any ideas?

I've only got a 1.2, but its the same car, although his is ever so slightly faster. Mine was the passenger door catch (hence why it does it while cornering and a jiggly bump) which causes a creaky clunking noise. Although it could also be the shocks as they had problems with them aswell (but im not sure on the VXR, probably not the shocks as your suspension is totally different) Just take it into the garage and it's a quick fix.
