Hey guys,

just joined up. I know its not as fast as some of you guys cars, but hey, I love it! Got a smart roaster, left hand drive that started out with 61bhp...now has about 95, which i think is pretty decent. Its a fun car, its not how fast it is in the straights, its how fast you go round corners, and how it make you feel! This is my third one, although its identical to my first. But it has leather heated seats added, been lowered, remapped, sports filter, exhaust, silicon intercooler and air intake pipes.

Well done Stevie - quite right it's all about how the car feels not the speed or bhp

so you could have left it at 61hp smile

I've got 44hp at the drive wheels but I bet few will realise that at tommorrow's Northants hoon

No Picts!?
I like these, especially the coupe ones. I almost bought one instead of my ForTwo. But the ForTwo is a bit more practical and I like the high up driving position. Still, roadsters are great and I may well grab one, one day smile

Roadster is a great car - but never fulfilled its potential IMHO. Sort the gearbox (or give it a manual - even better) and it would be legend.

Of course, there's the bike engined option....wink

the gearbox isnt really that bad, just remember that the roadie was built on a budget, so couldnt have a multiple clutch, seamless shift box out of a fezza, Getrag worked to that budget and gave quite a nice little box in the end. You only really get the 'lag' if you lift off when shifting, if you keep your foot down it changes gear quite nicely.
