I'm on my 4th S2000
My only gripe with the S was it's lack of power to out perform the modern hot hatches.
After a lot of research I decide to supercharge one and modify the chassis/suspension to cope and compliment.
I'm now at 320bhp and ready for my next round of mods to get me over the 400 bhp mark.

Good work! It once looked like mine!

When complete what's the estimated 0-60 and 0-100 times? Got to be pretty rapid i bet!

That looks great,

I do sympathise with the 'standard' peformance of these cars though. They dont get away from my little 1600 AX, many clio cup's etc keep up with them etc.

I'd love a go in a boosted one though! I bet it isnt shy. I love S2000's in white though with oodles of carbon & some swish black mags or something =]

Keep us updated mate =]

Really? I used to have a VTR engined AX and have driven an S200 and the latter was a fair bit quicker

What are you talking about??? rofl

The 0-100mph time for a standard S2000 is 14.33secs
The 182 Clip Cup does 0-100mph in 16.5secs
a Merc SL500 5.5 will 0-100 in 12.15secs so i suppose the S2000 will keep with that? laugh

The S2000 he "Raced" probably didnt even know they were racing and was just accelerating normally.

sorry if i've offended anybody on here. I didnt mean to do so. I was just sharing my own experiences.

a 1600 8v VTR is quite considerably slower than the 16v option, you should know that Negative Creep, being an AXOC memberwink

However, i did not say that the ax is FASTER, i said that the s2000 didnt get away. I didnt specifically mention wether it was on a race track, hillclimb, or in a straight line.wink

<3 wite s2k's =D

+ i would hardly call it 'racing' lol.

Im just surprised. My car is probably not as quick as a S2000 in a straight line and I have no problem with saxo vts.

Yeah it happens all the time. The only way you can tell if the other cars are trying it on; you see the front of the car going up and down like a speedboat. laugh

Rob, what car is it that you drive?

I assume (the mother of all fkups, haha) that you're referring to a saxo vts as, as in one that has normal seats, dash, lots of gadgets leccy windows etc. Or was it stripped out, polycarb windows, 1 seat, half a dash, lightweight panels etc ?wink
I should have probably mentioned i wasnt referring to a standard 100bhp AX :| my appologies ^

Gotta love the bark > (real nice 2SK) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ccCIbgQsrPA

How do S2000's respond supercharged compared to ITB's ? (im not a vtec man myself but they do sound nice) =]

Ahhhhh memories. Mine was running the same as a standard VTS but whilst pretty pokey I'd say the S2000 is a quicker car on the straights although the corners might be a bit closer. Oddly, I found the S2000 to feel slower than it actually was (perhaps it was due to having the hood up.) Even more oddly, the AX is the only car I've ever owned that I sometimes miss

My car is a Stage 1 200sx s13.

I assumed (lol) that a saxo vts would be similar performance to a 1600 ax.

some breathing mods to exhaust & inlet. (RR came up as 149.6bhp however i think it is a little optimistic lol).
It easts stock 106 gti's & saxo's all day without a problem.
Its just cars with boost that always have the edge past 3rd gear! f**king annoying tbh lol biggrin

anyhow back to topic ^^
