My little hatchback shopping trolley....
Discussion
Hey guys
I've been reading pistonheads for a while, but haven't really posted that much recently...
So, I thought I would let you have a look at my shopping trolley !
Let me know what you think
She is lightly modified as follows:
-Bluefin remap
-Full Milltek Exhaust (Turbo back inc 100 cell sport cat)
-K&N Gen 2 Induction system
-Forge actuator set @ 19PSI
-Full Roose Boost hoses inc Mikalor clamps
-Standard plugs regapped to 0.7mm
-Magnacor KV85 leads
-Uprated discs and pads
-AP Racing Organic Clutch
Since photos were taken I've also add mudflaps to preserve paintwork, and the dangerous (in the wet!) dunlop SP2000's have been
replaced with Falken 452's.
Rolling Roaded @ 275bhp, 289lbs torque

(Ignore the flashing light, the torch blew off the large RR fan!)
Thanks for looking
Rob

Yeah it would be awesome to get a GT28RS
BUT I actually think that the power is enough for a day to day FWD car.
In the wet it already spins the fronts in third and I'd much rather keep the balance.
With a manifold I'd get 290ish bhp, maybe 300. But thats the safe limit of the turbo.
Some guys run 23+PSI which offers hardly any more power but will undoubtedly kill the car quickly

I love these and was very very close to buying one three years ago, but got a 147 GTA instead.
Yours looks in great condition. My only very slight comment is that I'm not that keen on the Ford badge on the number plate.
If you haven't already be sure to watch the Chris Harris video on the Autocar site where he shows how to left foot brake in a Focus RS:
