I would remove the chin spoiler and revert back to the original lights if it was down to me but looks tidy thumbup

It would look really good imo if the chin spolier was removed and the headlights and tailights were changed for the originals and had a smaller exhaust tip, apart from that it looks tidy.

I like it all apart from the front splitter, nice colour especially, I didn't know they did non-Roland Garros Peugeots in that colour?

Yup, they do, because mine is that colour too.

Standard everything. Including repaired crash damage to rear quarter.

it's a rare colour, and very nice

replace the front splitter with a standard one from peugeot (only £25)

you can just about see it here, it's only small and black plastic, but it looks good

also I would agree on the rear lights, they dont look to bad but i think standard is better (and also more visable to those behind you)
is it remapped?.....if not then go and see http://jacmech.co.uk/ who is a genius with these cars

The colour is officaly called sherwood forest green, but its a little bit darker than the roland garros but not much.

I havent had it re-mapped, but ive put in a re-mapped ecu i brought on e-bay. Its suppose to be re-mapped to 125bhp but i cant be sure of it.

Looks good, I love the colour. Mine looks the same as Matthew Eames.

Not keen on the splitter or the rear lights though - some ph 3 red lights would look good and break up the darkness, and a Peugeot splitter would look much neater.

Although I'm probably most jealous of your economy...!

Great looking car!!

We had a 306 rallye which I wish we still had, because it was an awesome car and cornered really well.
The front splitter is a bit big imo but I like it, lights look good to.

Front splitter, as mentioned, is horrible. I don't think the car (or any car for that matter) pulls off those rear lights.

How come in each picture you've posted of your car you have a different number plate on it?

I'm fairly sure he will have bought a private number plate, and stuck it on. The photos do not look like they're taken on the same day.

Saw a 306 HDi yesterday and assumed the bling exhaust was aftermarket - bit surprising for a diesel! What're the power/torque figures for the HDi?

they have a chrome exhaust the same as the GTI as standard, the one on his green one is aftermarket, they are basically GTI's but with a diesel and without the leather (oh and slightly smaller front brakes)

standard power is 90bhp and 155 lbft
mapped they will run 120bhp and 200 lbft

not huge power but in a lighter car (and mapped) it's not bad (well, in context)

Very nice. Are the figures the same in the 206 2.0 (ask as I have a 206 petrol) I'd have to say though that the torque figure isn't too strong especially for a common rail injection unit - I believe the first VW 1.9 "PD" back around '99 made 229 lb/ft?

Ah but the pd engines are not common rail and run at even higher pressures hence the massive dollop of torque. However the hdi delivers the power more smoothly. It is only 1st gen common rail and isnt intercooled (the hdi in the 306 is very much an afterthought to keep the car competitive) shame they never put the 110 in as it would be great as an alternative to the golf tdi (with a good chassis), 140bhp remapped and 55mpg would be great but you have to buy a xsara for that.
