I do like that, i bet a lot of time any money has gone into that. What engine is it running and have you some under bonnet photos?

What would something like this fetch if you were to sell it?

i dont have any pics of under the bonnet just now, to be honest it aint that exciting under the bonnet. its a 1.6 on the logbook but fitted a 1.8 8v last year as the 1.6 decided it wanted an early retirement. it has a twin choke weber fitted which spices it up a bit.im not sure how much to let it go for make an offer lol ,its a two seater and the rear has had a false floor fitted with 2x 12" subs hidden in it and it has a 15" kicker sub at the rear and 2 amps powering the lot.could do with 6x9s fitted ive got a set there but never got round to fitting them, also have a few other spares to go with it.could do with a couple of niggly things done but apart from that its a reliable daily driver with long t+t it will be a sad day when it goes

i will regret it but needing something more practical, the good lady is talking about starting a family so need something with rear seats as a child seat wont fit in the bucket seats properly

very nice mk2, really like the smoothed sides with flared arches and can see some other neat touches to.
if it were mine id be quite tempted to put some skinny bumpers on it and see what that looks like!!

Why do people say this as if its a good thing?

You do realise its illegal and could invalidate your insurance?

This looked pretty neat at first sight. In fact it still looks neat, but I got put off with the 'german' plates, the undeclared engine mods, and all the speakers.

i bought the german plates quite a while back to be 'different' but as time has went by they are everywhere, at least they arent as bad looking as the german plates with the stadt stickers on them?

Love it, just needs declaring as 1.8 and a nice interior slapping in, maybe trimmed in biscuit leather with alcantara centres. Then the speakers putting in a subtle install.
