My new 205 gti
Discussion
A few more, i still cant believe how nice it is.
Love the shape etc and the car on a whole but have to say, this day and age the age lacks the little extra punch that is needed, thinking about putting a gti6 lump in there but keep it looking totally standard, what do you think, dont want the purists hating me.

Gorgeous car and even better, its Miami blue
Always wanted one, when I had the XS's but I somehow skipped one and went to the Teg, which is a similar sort of car in character. GTI6 engine would be a good move, especially if you can give it the "factory" look, or there's always the M16 route, which almost was a factory fit job anyway!

Is this the one that was up at 3.5k? It was discussed over on 205gtidrivers.com, I'm not a fan of the polish more than drive brigade, they should stick to old Fords. I said strip it and track it

Car looks ace and it still has the full size spare - a rare thing!
Every 205 GTI I've seen has either had no spare or the alloy, nothing inbetween!Very nice, that must be one of the last ones, so 122bhp due to the cat rather than 130bhp?
Nice to see a standard one in such a good condition.
Also I found this recently, might be of interest? http://pagesperso-orange.fr/fred.brossaud/pdf/peug...

It has had a little bit of paint on the roof, i suspect this to be because the laquer flake these get but everywhere else is standard.
I had just applied a chemical to the lower sill and steam cleaned it so that explains how you see the paint on the floor, its just washed up.
The car is near perfect and looks in the condition you would expect to find on a couple of year old motor, alot better than my other 205 which is also an L reg but has done a bit more leg work.
The white one is booked in for a full valet on monday and will be up for sale very shortly, full history, 12 months mot and ready to go, would be looking for £1700, has done 120k, should sell?
