First up Our Megane 225 F1. Its my second Megane, currently running a remap from RS Tuning (Leeds) and a custom exhaust/air intake that gives 269BHP. Its quick enough!

Next up is my favorite biggrin VX220 (NA) This is also my second VX after having one last year I sold it and then really missed it so I went and got this one

Not got many pics yet as I've only had it a couple of weeks. Was a great buy just in need of a couple of little bits doing. Calipers are now back to standard and front numberplate replaced. Other than that it just needed a wee bit of TLC as it has spent a lot of the past two years stood (only done 4k in last 2 years!)

Both cars IMO are the best in their repsective classes and I could reccomend either of them to anyone.

The VX looks great in that colour. The megane sounds like it would be a bit of a laugh too driving

lol not partcularly to be honest. The F1 megane has nice recaro seats but only comes in blue (and also black but they are very rare) The VX was just a bargain. I was after a red one but couldnt turn this one down.

Two lovely cars there, good choice of colour - not too brash. I like the VX more though...a reminder why should work MUCH harder!

Yeah the VX is a bit of a cheat really. They look a million dollars but are actually very cheap to buy/run/insure etc You just need to be double jointed to get in biggrin

If it's a dry sunny day, which car do you use to go for a blast (Edit: if both were standard)?

Only ask as I am really tempted by a NA VX220. Currently own a DC2 Integra Type R, prob similar to the Megane (Fwd, LSD and speed ect). Just don't know if I would regret selling the Teg confused

Just wish I had the money to own both rolleyes

On a dry sunny day theres no contest! VX all the way. The VX is on a different level really as far as driving experience goes.

I'm probably only keeping the VX over the summer till maybe August/september time but I do love the F1 and didnt really want to mess about selling it and then buying another one at the end of the summer.

Difficult one really as I understand the 'Tegs are pretty livley. I would say get a VX. Everyone should own one at some time they really are fantastic cars. If you dont get on with it you can shift it on without fear of loosing a lot of money on it. My old one I had exactly a year and lost the grand total of £300 on it in that time!

Sounds like a plan. They arent for evryone thats for sure. Not my idea of a daily driver Although we did run one on its own for a short time) Good idea in the summer. Very bad idea in the winter smile

Wow, awesome cars. Was commenting on the Megane's looks earlier with a mate - I'd definitely have one in that colour!!
