looking for more power

i have just bought myself a fiat coupe 20vt.
im looking for a bit more BHP.
having never modified a car before i would like any advice possible

Get yourself over to the coupe forum, I don't know the address but search using google.

The cars have quite a following so there are many parts and advice out there.

Look at improving the breathing, filter and exhaust first.
Possible remap of engine and turbo upgrade.
Might require stengthening of the engine internals.
With increase in power you'll need to improve the brakes.
Wider wheels and lower suspension to improve cornering.

hi im a coupe owner too, get yourself along to fccuk the coop forum, loads of nice helpfull people on there, if you cars standard you might want to look at, performance filter, dump valve, bigger down pipe, de-cat and of course a gtech1 chip, there the basic to start with

There is a suprising difference between a modded and unmodded 20VT.
