After looking through a few of the other cars on here I thought id be brave, or stupid? and post this up. Of course i know it will get slated as its not going to be anybodies taste, and I admit if i was to do the car again today styling wise would stay virtually standard, however I originally got the car when I was 16. Also everything apart from the spraying has been done by myself (with some help from my old man)

Well, the styling may not be to my taste, but I admire your graft - looks like a decent job (which alone sets it apart from a lot of the bolt on barrys wink )

Nice one (I think hehe )

Same oppinion here.

Its not a car I would want myself, but it looks like you have done a nice job on it, and it looks like you have the power to back up the looks (if not the traction LOL)

Whats the spec on the engine, and what power are you running?
Do you need such a huge intercooler? Much turbo lag?

Cheers - could of probably got away with smaller cooler but i managed to snap this up second hand. Its still on std turbo at the moment so there is hardly any lag. Its running the eds phase 3.5 chips (overboosts about 1.5 and holds @ 1.2) walbro ext fuel pump, saab red injectors, adjustable fuel pressure reg, xe inlet cams, full 3 inch exhaust, 6 speed box, wideband lambda sensor, auquamist.

Jumping into the car after not being in it for a while its a handfull with wheelspin and torque steer, however my brother inlaw has just bought an astra with a similar engine transplant but it had a quaife diff fitted, so this is what im fancying eventually.

fair play for the workmanship, but it would have been so much cooler as a sleeper or track sg.

although, to be fair why ot start off with a good car in the first place, such as a 205/e30/mk2golf?!

Not to my tastes at all but I admire you doing the work yourself and it certainly looks far more presentable than my own car haha.

Can I ask how old you are now if you got the car at 16?

The styling isnt to my taste, but i do like what you have done with the engine, 2.0 corsas are very nippy. A diff would be a good idea imo.

I have to say I'm very much inside the 'hate it, but thoughly respect what you have done' camp.

Obviously you enjoy it, so fair play to you. Welcome!

Also where are you, because I'm looking about for a respray...!
