I too am a newbie to this site, well the forum part anyway.

Decided to post up the pics i have of my car. I have had her since Jan 2003 and have loved every minute of ownership. Driven to Italy twice via the swiss/ilalian alps which i have to do again as it was an amazing couple of trips. Hope to do the cote de zur next year but time will tell.

Mods wise i have had a reduced pulley fitted, eibach springs, aero skirts, Larini full de-cat system and manifold, spotties and my superleggeras. I would like to get a GRS intercooler as i do loose power when its hot here and espec when im abroad. Apart from that im pretty happy with everything as it is.

As promised a couple extra

Looks nice mate, have you any bigger photos?

What sort of economy do you get out of, out of interest? My Mum's looking to upgrade from her Cooper to an 'S'.

Ah, so it was you!

Nice motor, and sounds suitably fruity, but I'd calm down the overtakes a touch on the A6, have seen plenty of plod hiding as you approach Chorley.

I really like that. I never liked the Mini because of the 'lifestyle' nature of it's marketing, until I was given a Cooper S for three weeks when the Elise was being resprayed, totally fell in love with them, gorgeous cars. Would love to have one.

Same except it was a company car and I don't have an Elise tongue out.

Oh, very much so, I was in the family bus with kids in rear so just bimbling along, just hate to see you get caught out as you get to chorley. Especially in the dip nr the school, they like to sit in a layby on left hand side.

Enjoy.

Thank god for that! My mum got caught by the police there...the sneaky devils!! They gave her 3pts and said she was irresponsible for speeding near a school....on a sunday! Grrrr...still she was pretty stupid, she was heading back to adlington after shopping and she saw them sat there on her way into town! IDIOT! pmsl.
