Saw a Mustang thread earlier on here and saw that there was some appreciating piston headers, so thought I would post some pics of part of my father in law's Mustang collection. He has been a lifelong collector and restorer.

I really don't know too much about them and have never been a fan of yankee cars, but there is something about these ones.

Various shots for you...enjoy:

Total of around 12. All Shelby Mustangs of various years (late 60s/ early 70s). He has two consecutive numbered convertible ones and a white drop top that is pretty rare. I wish I knew more about them to give more info. He built a heated garage to house them all...he doesn't mind giving them a good boot either!

My favourite too...has a matt finish on the bonnet to reduce glare. This was called the Ram Air Mach 1 or something along those lines.

Family live in Indiana, so no, unfortunately. When we visit, he always rolls one out of the garage for a ride. A fascinating guy and not pedantic about them. Just loves to drive them.

Wow, great collection.

I'd have to agree, the '69 Mach1 above is gorgeous.
