nice mk2 darkhorse, i have just sold mine to fund another project, it was a touch rotten in places but was redtop powered, wide atlas, quaife box etc, full group 4 spec... and worst of all , it was an unfinished project, i never got to go sideways in it

the Quattro revolutionised rallying thanks to its 4 wheel drive and is certainly in my top 5, but how many are still competing today?? Go to any clubmans rally event and there is always a selection of mk1 and 2 escorts, still putting in quick times - and they are 30 years old !! For that reason, the Escort is THE greatest rally car of all time (and if you have ever heard a BDA on full chat coming through a forest - then you will know what i mean)
