Any recommendations

Wanting to change my car this summer and looking at either an Octavia VRS, with some Jabba sport mods, or a Civic Type R. Any recommendations as to which would be most reliable, cheapest to run etc... Was looking to spend around the 7-8k mark.

Both should be reliable, the octavia might wear through its parts faster as it will be modified to higher power.

Octavia will be faster, CTR will be better in the bends.

Both are good cars, all depends if you like turbo power, or revving the motor hard to get the power. I like both ways, and am on turbo power currently, but I did really enjoy the vtec too.
