Can't remember if av posted this up before but this is my current project.
A Mk1 Mr2 with V6 3VZFE engine in the back from a Camry.
Build thread on my website : http://www.olberj.co.uk/-build-page/
The engine is in and jus currently having some electrical issues getting the thing started, shouldn't be too long now.
Will post up plenty vids when it's running.
Planning to take the car on a trip from Newcastle to Stavanger to Calais and home in July, and also take in a few trackdays too.
Cheers for looking,
Olie

Nice work, bet that will fly! How much extra weight does the V6 add over the 4AGE?
Not that much more. All the info on these is up on TwoBrutal.co.uk. Paul Woods (Woodsport) is the main guy who is making these conversions and has it down to a fine art. There are complete instructions for the engine swap and other mental mods on the site. Someone is experimenting with the V6 engine for modification in a Mk2 MR2 as there is potential for more power there. I'm tempted to do a similar thing with one of my AW11s if/when I have the cash. It'd sound good in a tunnel... Vixpy thinks I should go 3S-GTE and try and get it over 500bhp using Fensport Corrola style modification...Aye, shouldn't weigh much more and the weight will be fore of the rear axle so will help plant the car anyways.
It's a 3.0, yes, standard BHP in the Camry is 185, but that's on a very choked system. As Toyota de-tuned it to go in the Camry.
So am hoping, with some homebrew mods and a better exhuast system 200-210BHP.
If i do the heads, 240-250BHP.
It's the toque that makes this thing though, full power available from about 2,250rpm. It's just nuts.
Oh and then there's the noise

Had some issues with the wiring but that kind lad Paul Woods sorted it all out for me. Mind you av gotta say that, he's my boss now too.
Anywho's, here's what happened when i tried it this time :

Still needs an exhuast sorted, the ARB's fitted, brake lines, some poly bushes for the torque mounts and an MOT then it's time for some proper fun.
Might leave the exhuast off though, gotta love that roar!

Been uber busy building other people's cars av not had much time to work on mine.
