Well, after lots of arguments with myself, it seems like logical thinking has finally been overruled, and finally got the car I've really wanted for ages.

Its a 1999 3.0 V6 phase 2 5 speed, teledials, aerokit, black leather, 62k and seems in really good nick. And bloody fast, which is nice. Really practical as well, and economical..... I may have lied a bit there..... but I managed 24 mpg which is more than expected. Belts and suspension bushes done recently as well so hopefully not too many massive bills for a bit.

Driving is brilliant, great for giving it some stick or pottering round town, and the sound is great, might get a slightly noisier exhaust in the future, any suggestions welcome, as long as its not too much of a racket!

Cheers Batty for showing me yours at the Cheddar meet, still local to the area so possibly a mini-hoon sometime?

loving the teledials, and the aeropack spoiler. grab yourself the splitter for £40 and you'll complete the look.

would love a hoon, perhaps get Pete (pdv6) involved too smile

Cheers for the positive comments! Can't wait till I can use it again at the weekend (still using the panda for work commuting, 6 miles through lanes, cheaper too)

Batty, I think it has the Aerokit splitter, though in black (doesn't show too well in the photos), is that the right one?

yeah, wouldn't mind a bit more noise, and hear good things about the Ragazzon systems... any good? Also there seem to be quite a few with Powerflow exhausts, so any opinions welcome. I'm not after anything too over the top but something with a bit more burbleage and maybe a couple of free horses would be good. Hopefully get a bit of a blat round the Mendips at the weekend, missed driving it this week wink

but thats one of the best things about it?
sure the Twinspark is a decent engine, but the 6 pot is something else
