Looks very nice!

What boots did you go for- they look like Michelin's, my brother-in-law just fitted them to his TT & rated them over the Eagle F1's fitted before

Lovely car, never seen one so shiney!

Have you thought about putting the 2.5 litre inlet manifold on it? that and a decent intake system will see you another 30 horses (allegedly). I understand the engines were detuned to get under a german output tax threshold. Interesting thought, quite a lot about it on the PH beemer forums (do a search!).

Makes the engine sound even better too!

cheers for all the positive comments!
The colour is Avus blue and the leather is silver grey.
Im a member of E36coupe.com and am quite clued up on the BBTB and manifold for the M52 2.8i but im going to do with out as iv got first hand experience of it from a few of the members giving me runs and also going head to head at the pod and to be honest iv not been pushed towards doing it to much,I have a gruppe M that makes a lovely sound and lets loose a few horses and has had a remap along with iridium plugs so i think im going to just leave it at that,By fitting the BBTB and manifold you can a bit here and loose a bit there if you know what i mean,i dont want to change the way she drives as she does for me just how she is.Got a few things in the pipeline at the mo for her but mainly want to keep her looking as standard as possible.

Looks great, you said that you are nearly there with what you want to do with it, so what are your intentions with it?

I dont know why, but i really like the look of the black exhausts instead of the usual chrome.

yeah i know what you mean mate, the pipes on the 328i are black anyway but people some times put chrome trims on them and i hate it to be honest, the black really suits the rest of the car, thats part of the reason i havent gone for an aftermarket exhaust.

Nice car.... been thinking of one of these, see them as a more affordable/insurance friendly alternative to an M3, what's the performance like?

performance for me is great,i so enjoy the drive it gives and the torque, its such a smooth engine!
Pulls right round untill the limiter in every gear(If needs be) and suprises alot of drivers of more modern cars on todays roads, for an all rounder you cant go wrong.
