Hi All,

I recently bought a house, and found most of an old car in the garage... trouble is there isn't enough of it for me to identify it - can you help?

embossed logo on seat headrest

best pic i could get of the badge after climbing over piles o' stuff

thanks for the quick response, but having googled it, i'm not convinced...

Looks more like a 70's British Leyland of some sort.

However, there is a small (1.3l or something) 4 cyl engine with FMCo stamped on it - Ford Motor Co?

Are you sure it's all from one car ? The crest in the third pic is from a Crown Vic:

hmmm, after much more googling it might be a mkII or mkIII ford Cortina

it certainly looks that way... now i'm puzzled!

It seems very unlikely that bits of an old american car would end up in england tho!

crest on seat also looks Toyota crown victoria, and the front wing is deffo Mk3 cortina

I was thinking that too.
The headrests might be part of an upgrade it had done on interior or just from another car.
