Loads of pictures!!!

Here is my 1969 Mk1 Esort 1100 Deluxe Estate, completely standard (at present).
Family owned since 1972 until I purchased it in July of last year ;D
The colour is Aquatic Jade Green (A Cortina colour & very rare on Escorts, the only other Aqua jade mk1 Estate I've seen was on a ford brochure!)

First day I saw it for sale (Powderham classic car show)

Behold the 1100!!! biggrin

Interior

As it stands:

The vision: ;D

Future plans:

Got a set of Harrington repro quarter bumpers to fit but need a set of quarter bumper brackets to fit them, want a set of clear indicators & that will be it for body mods.
Keep it looking fairly standard (Lowering aside) to make it the ultimate sleeper to surprise a few of the local Saxos! ;D wink

Did toy with the idea of sticking a Cossie lump in it but it's too good to cut up so planning on fitting a decent spec Crossflow

Wheel wise I wouldn't mind a set of Lotus Steels to go on it so at a glance it looks standard biggrin

Hope you like it 8-)

It's beautiful, How much did you pay for it?

I love the colour. I wouldn't change the wheels - i think they look great as it is.

That is in such beautiful condition! I'd live a mk1 escort, but they're as rare as hen's teeth now, I guess they've all been written off on rally stages!

I was going to say slam a cossie engine in there, but I can understand why you don't want to cut her up now.

lovely car
whatever happened to 2/3 door estates? they don't exist any more

trivia for those that don't know, there wasn't a 'real' mk 2 estate, it was a mk1 body with unique front panels to look like a mk2 front end

THAT LOOKS THE BOLLOX.

You must be very proud. Wow to have it in the family from 1972 is amazing. I wasnt even born for another 11.9 years.

Well done, cherish her.
