finally managed to get my new car on Saturday.

had been looking at a few different options, an alfa GTV (Batty's V6 imparticular, but funds just wouldnt stretch to it frown) or a twinny, or a 156 of some guise, or another Bravo.. this is my third one now, all 3 have been the same colour and modified in some way shape or form

for me it does everything i need, seats myself, missus and lil'un comfortably, reasonable boot space, looks nice and then theres the engine. not the quickest thing in the world, or the most powerful, but it does me rather nicely. oh, and it makes a rather nice noise too... 2.0 20v 5 cylinder with an induction kit, and a powerflow exhaust system (will be replaced by a Ragazzon soonish) oh and it was nice and easy on the wallet too. i know the last 2 of the 3 owners and know that shes been looked after, hence i did not mind the modifications as such, where as normally i would only hunt out a standard car

the cars for a few other mod's aswell, 17" alloys (not to my liking, but they have plenty of tread so will stick for a while until i find something less chav and also lighter!) lowered 55mm on FK suspension, Abarth factory option front bumper (pretty rare) stupid square No plate... and alfa 147 door handles (original bravo ones perish as they are coated in rubber)

few little changes to my liking in the pipe line as said, alloys, exhaust, and i will also be replacing the headlights with Marea polly elipticals for a much better light output, and also replacing the wing mirror base plates as they have corroded and i have a set in the shed painted gloss black.

a few pics

and with this one i was messing around with the sun position trying to get some nice effects, i think it works, but is maybe a tad to harsh..?

Your right about the wheels and the front plate. overall though is a nice looking car, imo could do with the vw 20v badge removing and a fiat badge putting on the front grille. I guess you really like them if is your third smile

Yeah new (smaller(!)) wheels, lots of spokes.. like the os superT's or the ford fiesta zetec ones. There's a sticker on the window you should lose too.

Actually what's the best way of removing stickers? any ideas?

FTB, i guess you can say i like them, for what they are and the price to buy etc, theres not much to dislike imo, just over a grand and you have a resonably potent hatch...

the 20v badge will be going tonight (was going to do it at the weekend, but instead installed som of my stereo equipment to improve it) as for teh grill badge, im not sure, its more inconspicious (sp?) without it IMO and for that reason alone I'm thinking of leaving it as is

Matt, cheers mate smile shame i could get the GTV mind frown

Xenocide, I will be sticking with 17's (to go over the planed big breaks at a later date) but have just found the wheels i want, Oz Ultra Leggras, only problem is that i would prefer the matt finish rather than super bright silver, but oz want a hefty premium for the finish frown re the sticker on the 3/4 windows, its the owner's club stickers... although they will probably go anyway, i have a small one just under the rear wiper, and will be have a PH smilie on the rear window too, and that will do me

easiest way of geting them off is to have a kettle of hot water and gently pour it over, and then use something to gently peel (i use a stanly blade with some tape over it, still nice and thin, but slightly less chance of damaging the paint, just need a steady hand!)
