I have been into minis for a number of years, i bought this one in 2006, it's pretty much mint apart from a few spots of rust, but it lives outside so i'm not too worried at the moment. It will hopefully be going into a garage soon so I'll sort the rust then.

Its a 93 K plate italian job special edition, I'm the 5th owner and it's done just under 36 thousand miles. It was almost completly original when I bought it. I've got all the original parts so it could go back to stock if needbe.

As it stands it now has

1.5 degree front bottom arms and road uprated offset rubber bushes.
Minispares rubber road uprated tie rod bushes.
1.5 degree rear camber brackets
KAD front alloy tower mounts
Hi-Lo's
Gaz adjustable dampers
RC40 Catback exhaust
Blackstuff pads
Yoko A048 tyres
Cobra clubman bucket seats
Mountney 12" leather wheel

I have also added a JVC headunit an amplifier and Rainbow components on the rear shelf. I'm not really bothered about the sounds in this car but its nice having some decent tunes now and again.

It goes round corners like its on rails but its only developing 48bhp from its 1275cc engine but it's stll given a few suprises when people try and lose it and I keep up but a bit more power can't do any harm. I've picked up a HIF 44 carb to put on and I've also got plans for replacing the rest of the exhaust, stage 3 head & 1.5 roller rockers. I'm hoping never to have to sell the car so I'm not jumping straight into the 1380 route.

I've not had it on the road for a while but this year it will be out again this year for some B road fun.

Until recently I have been running a mini Cooper S convertible as my daily transport, but after numerous issues and a couple of crashes (not my fault) i got rid of it. I've done a bit of a review of my ownership experiance over on mini 2 if anyones interested its at http://www.mini2.com/forum/general-discussion/151621-my-mini-cooper-s-convertible-me.html

My daily transport now is an Impreza, completely different to the minis but its fun to drive and goes well. It drinks fuel like it goes out of fashion and I struggle to achieve 20mpg but I knew it would be like that before I bought it so I'm not too bothered. Theres going to be no chance of running something so stupid in a few years so I thought I'd take the oppertunity while I could.

Cheers mate, I have taken the resonating chamber out of the wheel arch so it gives a bit of induction noise and I'm hopefully picking up a prodrive backbox so it will give a nicer sound, it's just about silent at the moment. I'm not really a fan of the rear spoiler but I need the car to be fairly subtle for work so a massive STi spoiler might not go down to well.

As for upping the power I think i might leave it alone, its pretty rapid as it is but you never know what might happen in the future.
