I loved my old rallye, kinda wish i'd held onto it for a fun secind car. Oh well you live and learn. Stripped rear, group n exhaust, speedlines and the engine slightly breathed on.Here she is, she was called momo.
Dont worry the sunvisor wasnt actually on there it was just a photoshop so see what it looked like. The answer was crap.

And heres how i got it. This is the first day i tokk it into work and a truck reversed into the bonnet. I only found this out because i went outside to admire her and found the truck driver patiently waiting for someone to come and tell him whos car it was. Who said there are no honest people in the world?
And heres how i wanted it to look before i came to my senses and realised that big wheels would ruin the handling.

Hi Danny,
Are you getting rid of the blue S2 now or has that already gone.
Andy,
I remember that day thats my red rallye parked next to yours. the one you had was a nice looking car.
I've got a set of S2 steelies on mine now and it handles better on them than the 15". I've owned it almost 7 years now. they are great little cars.

Jesus i remember you, i was asking how hard it was to fit the lower strut brace. I found out it was very easy . How are you?
I doing alright, I remember talking to you on the day and posting on the PGAC. I had only just fitted the strut brace just before that show. How long did you keep the rallye and what did you replace it with?Danny,
Sorry to steal the thread slightly. I hope the S2 went to some one who will appriciate it, it was a nice example and standard mint once are getting rarer.
Kirk
Yeah sorry for the hi jack mate! I kept the rallye for about three years i think and sold it for £300 more than i paid for it! I replaced it with a lupo gti which was a cracking little car. I miss the old rallye though i had such a laugh driving that thing. Oh and i've just found it forsale on www.106rallye.com for 900!
