Great looking car. Brings back happy memories! My first car was a 1976 Mini Clubman in what looks like a very similar colour. IIRC mine was Flamenco red or something like that.

That looks well nice cool
One of the first few cars that i owned going back a while. Same colour as yours still had the awfull runflats as well. Great car to drive but it was a bit of a dog. Glad to get rid at the time, probably worth a heck of a lot more now though.

Nice looking car. Good to see you've stayed with 10" wheels!

Any engine mods in addition to the twin carbs?

Cheers for the comments guys, here's the spec

1310cc A-Series
Richard longman head
Cooper S crank & rod
731 ST cam
Twin SU 1.5 carbs

not sure about power figures.

I have a new luxury navy carpet to fit & I'm going to clean all the bay up, replace all suspension etc (want to make it a real top quality show car)!

nice car, nice photos thumbup

I never really liked the GT back when I had my 1976 mini 1000, but seeing one now it looks very retro cool.

It looks great, a real credit to you, although I think it looks much better with the correct white and yellow number plates. The Black and silver are not legal on that year of registration.

Cheers, the white & yellow refective plates are my current ones that replaced the nasty black plastic ones!

THB I bought the car as is so I cant really take the credit (unfortuantely)! However I do have plans to replace all worn & tied looking parts (keeping it totaly original of course)& get to some shows & runs!
