Here is my Leon , owned for nearly 2 years and carried out a few mods , had a Jabbasport re-map and full sports exhaust system fitted shortly after buying it , then had the brakes and suspension done - Eibach coilovers and Pagid uprated discs and pads . Last year I had the Forge FMIC and turbo inlet pipe fitted , just got to get another custom re-map to best out of the rest of the mods.

Hi Neil - like the motor a lot thumbup.

Two questions - what's the current output and what is a 'setter operator' ?

Cheers , not really sure on bhp , probably 220-230 .
A setter op. is just a glorified machine operator !!

Is that from a 180bhp starting point ? Like the black wheels BTW - they go well with the metallic grey. (I used to have a scoob with gold wheels - happy days !)

yeah, 180 to start with, took the wife and I months to find a set of wheels we both liked. Unfortunately one fell over last year at the trackday and chipped the paint , so will have to have a refurbish later this year.

Nice car, makes me smile with fond memories of the one I used to own. Does the extra bhp really makes it's presence felt? A friend had a 225bhp Audi TT which didn't feel that much quicker than my 180bhp, for that reason I never felt I could justify the 500 odd quid to chip it.

Might be because the TT loses more hp through the AWD system.

Not to sure wether to go down the big turbo route , thats the only major thing left engine wise . Hopefully getting some eibach anti roll bars fitted this summer along with a tt front strut brace and a custom rear strut brace . Brake wise , ok at the moment but with more power would definatly need upgrading !!
