Got the V6 after owning a Clio 182, scary stuff.

I'm only 23 but I love classic cars, the Morgan 4/4 in my opinion is one of the best.

The reliable hack.

I have some other interesting vehicles in my family not owned by me which I will post pictures of soon.

1963 Austin Healey 3000. It's been of the road for about 3 months for a respray and full engine rebuild which we have nearly finished, all going to plan it should be on the road in the next couple of weeks.

1931 Austin 7 Box Saloon. My dad uses this car daily and for international charity endurance events. He has driven across South America, the original Route 66 across America and has just driven from Peking to Bucks. In November he leaves to drive from New York to Buenos Aries. Nutter

Yes its very nice, she's a heavy old pig but great fun. Can only rev the engine to 3000rpm for 1000 miles while we run it in so I haven't experienced the new engine properly yet. It feels smooth and strong already though and makes a fantastic noise, it's had quite a lot of work done on it so it should go very well.

To be fair I dont suppose you'll be expecting a cutting edge driving experience (bit like the Clio maybe ...wink) but when it looks so good you could forgive a lot !

Here's another car we picked up a few months ago to start work on. It's a 1947 MG TC which has been locked away in a garage for 20+ years and is complete and original as it came from the MG factory. We hope to do as little as possible and just use it. The engine and other mechanicals will be overhauled, we are currently trying to track down a supercharger to fit to make it a fastish road car.

I'm luckily enough to use all the cars and I will say that people are often very suprised how good the Healey is. Its completely different to the Morgan in the sence of the torque and the ride quality, once run in the engine will push out around 190bhp which isn't a lot in modern standards but the way in which it's delivered makes the differnce, you are quite right it's not comparible to a modern car but very surprising none the less. Just look on youtube at the racing Healeys to see what a good one can do.

The Clio is actually for sale on Pistonheads at the moment. I'm thinking of getting and E46 M3 maybe but still not 100% on my choice.

Fantastic collection, especially the Austin. You're a very lucky bod to have such great toys at your disposal.
