I`m in dilemma mad

Went to the workshop on thursday where my car is, to start work on her, to be greeted by a notice, asking all occupants to ring this no.

I called it, and was told, we are taking over the building, it will be demolished and a new office and workshop will be built in its place.

You have until sunday 20th Jan, to remove your car and eveything else that you have inside the building.

I spent the rest of thursday and yesterday travelling round and on the phone looking for an alternative with a 4 poster to no avail. I found several places to park it, but nowhere where I can continue working.

As I see it, I now have 3 options ....
1 Garage the car indefinitely, hoping somewhere will turn up.
2 Break the car and sell the bits. Or .......
3. Put the car, as it stands up for sale, and let someone else finish her.

I think option 3 would be the best, considering all the hard work that has gone into the project.
So I`m open to sensible offers as from now.

I`m totally pissed off mad

Also very sorry to hear this.

I'm too far away to be able to offer any local knowledge but I hope you come to a solution that involves you keeping (and finishing!) the car.

Have you put a post in your local bit?

Pete don't give up mate, it's a set back that's all, you've come so far. Get it finished, you'll regret it otherwise.

I am sure something will turn up so dont give up on it, your not that far from finishing and it would kill ya to sell it on when you are so close to realising your dream.

After chasing around, I finally came up with an idea

Spoke to the new people taking over the premises, and they will allow me to build my own small workshop at the back end of the building It`ll be steel framed and sheeted with crinkly tin 10m long x 7m wide and 3.5m high.
Sadly, it wont be tall enough for the 4 post, but, I`ve got that sorted too. A garage, on the same estate, will let me use theirs, all they need is 1 weeks notice, and I can use it for a complete weekend.

Just thought I`d share that with you all smile
