IIRC, the Escy has a small block Chrysler lump in it (the car's changed hands various times in recent years). Propshaft wise, they'll be a chromoly solid driveshaft going in it - a short one at that. They're good for upto 4000hp normally smile
i want that escort, that sounds FUN yes

I shall arrange for a pair of ear defenders for you, and a coffee, and an egg and bacon sarnie smile
Still on target for April 19th, just about...honest...
What venue you running on the 19th matey?

Coffee, egg & bacon sarnie would be nice, but the ear defenders wont be needed hehe

Shakespeare County Raceway, in glorious Warwickshire, will be hosting the first test & tune / Supercharged Outlaws Test day (19th-20th April). See www.shakespearecountyraceway.com for more info. Not sure about ticket prices but it's usually peanuts to get into this kind of event. As long as I'm 110% sure I'm there, and you can make it, I'll sort out a ticket for you sir smile
Its a long way off, mileage wise, but if you let me know closer to the time, I can let you know if I can make it down!

Which other venues do you usually run?

Ticket would be much appreciated chief, I look forward to getting some good action shots wink

There's 3 tracks in the UK which I'll be running at - Santa Pod, Northants; Shakespeare County (mentioned above); and York Raceway, which is probably the closest for you. As I understand it, we're scheduled to be at York on August the 2nd and 3rd, only running the 1/8th mile though...
I'll try get to Shakespeare County if not Santa Pod, but all being well I should be able to make York smile

Some newish piccies (taken on Sunday).

The view looking out, technically speaking, very little forward view...objective one, achieved [tick]

The beginning of the rear panels, pre contouring.

The driver, and given I have such an ugly mug, I nicked Fester's breather mask smile

One completed seat bar a few tiny tweaks

Steering complete, and still quite short...

Cockpit minus clutch can and reverser, and possibly the shortest driveshaft known to man, we'll see

Full set of pics available here
Ohhhh yeah baby!!!

Well that's the aim at least - nice looks, a bit of aggression and sufficient go go to go go quite quick.

Hope that set last night was acceptable btw smile
Listened to both sets this aft, fantastic mate! you really do have a knack for it wink
