More like give the gentlemen in their Porsches and Ferraris something to think about!

200+ mph in a car made in Basildon about 20 years ago, that's just incredible!

More so, 769hp from a 2.1 litre engine. That's nearly 380hp/litre. What are F1 cars these days? They're NA I know but surely they can't be much more than that.

I've always had a soft spot for the old Sapphire Cosworth.

That, is one awesome motor car! I like the fact it looks pretty much standard too.

Good job!

I've been lucky enough to be in two convoys with this car, and whilst we all remained at completely legal road speeds I can tell you that this thing is a monster!

Awesome car Rod and I hope to see you out on another run! biggrin

Very impressive but does it not get annoying it breaking all the time? I used to modify all my cars all the time for big hp outputs and there was always something wrong with them?

Anyway , fair play , 1000hp potential with NOS is amazing no matter what

that is stunning, love the fact it is still so subtle, yet packs a MASSIVE punch........but how the hell do you get any traction? do you have any performance figures?

I used MAD way back when for my saphire cossie as when they did the magazine feature he had made the lowest power claim (so most realistic) and yet the car proved to be the fastest car.
Therefore I have mixed fealings about your car, on one hand I want to say '700+bhp from a cossie! in your dreams' but in the other I know that Mark wouldn't bush1t.

So you car must be bloody awsome, you using Autronic traction control etc?
