Evening all.

Just got back from a mission drive to pick up my new baby. It's a '99 S reg in Nile blue with 63k on the clock. Its just had the cambelt done and a full service, refurbed alloys put on and there's not a mark on it, inside or out.

Coming up to this from my old 1.4 306 is like chaulk and cheese, I absolutley love it!

Just a few pics from the advert but once the weather clears up a bit I'll get the PC onto her and she'll be be even more cool

nice one mate, nice colour too.
Bin the p6000's in favour of something better and fit a stiffer anti roll bar on the rear & you will be laughing

I found mine really twitchy when cornering at high speed.

looks great,

interestingly has a P3 rear tailgate, never seen one on an S reg before, usually they are on T plates or so....you have an early Parts Bin Special

would look great with clear headlights, colour coded side strips and also the B Pillar trims need putting back on

Just like mine on a T - mixture of bits. Mine has ph3 boot, ph2 side strips, a random selection of badges, ph2 dials, ph3 dash insert... Bizzare.

Enjoy! I love mine to bits.

Hey I've just worked this out - this came from Carl in Leicester didnt it? Must be a good-un then, he's a legend in GTi-6 circles! Top bloke, did my timing belt for me.

Lovely car mate… it looks really clean. I had one a few years ago, best FWD car I have ever had. And very quick, even by to day’s standards.

Oh ffs....

Is anything bent behind the bumper?

I think the panel with the badges on is pretty easy to chop out and replace.

Bad luck mate...

No luckily it hasn't been written off, although it could quite easily have been. Just now waiting to hear from insurers/accident repair place for when it's getting sorted. Really hope it's in the next few weeks as I don't really enjoy driving a half bent car around!
