Yea it does peturb me how many saxo's are chavved to death, and i HATE the image they have too! Thing is i've had it so long and it's so fun to drive in the current set up, that I couldn't sell it! I love it. (Plus i've spent too much on it) *cough*
My plans are to fit my new engine (Which is almost ready-200Bhp Throttle bodied 16V built by Richard Longman) then track day it all next year. It's my 'toy' so to speak.

that looks great - the flocked dash is ace!
ive got a mk1 black vts, ive had it for years and love it.
its std, but is a great car, many people are a bit sniffy about them thanks to the chavs, but as a std car they are just enough to be good fun on the twisty roads.
the other thing i like is that because they look just like the lesser models, they tend to get left alone, mine lives on the street, and bar the odd aerial and badge its never been touched
good effort!

That looks as! Although saxo come under alot of fire because of the scal stigmata, they are actually really good cars. My best bud first had a VTR and then had a VTS because he liked it so much (admittedly I did take the p1ss for a while ). He had the last laugh though; at the time I had a CRX 16v and we both did near as damn it the same mods to both cars (Wilwood BB's, zorst+mani, port+polish, stripped out, poly bushes, upgraded sus etc..), but on track his car has had the edge over mine
A car thats well capable of deploying 200bhp IMHO

A couple of new toys....I also have my power chart for my new engine which I stick up asap.
Here it goes anyway...
Got my STACK the other day, only really had a chance to mess around with it tonight. I've made a card template for the stack to sit in, which i'm bringingto streamline to get it done in carbon. It was a total bitch to get the template mint, and it took 3 attempts in total but it's sorted now. That's about it for now. Cage is still getting done (More bits welded to it), so hopefully i'll get it back soon (this weekend is the plan)!
Anyway here are the pics-i love the stack and can't wait to fit it/wire it in, although i'll probably wait until my new engine is in so it can be wired in all at once.
Cheers.
