Hi all, im fairly new on PH so I thought i'd beter introduce myslef and more importantly, my car!
I have recently bought a very nice Intergale 16v. The car has been fairly well looked after, but as with all older cars there are some things that require sorting.
Here are some pics of the car taken when I viewed it:
She has done just over 50k and has loads of paperwork . I have been spending a few solitary nights in the garrage since I bought it doing the following:
Hoses and ignition parts all striped off ready for replacment. I also replaced the thermostat whilst I was at it. The car has recently had an uprgraded T38 fitted, im sure that will come in handy later...
I have also spent around 6hrs restoring the paintwork, I still have the passenger side left to do though. As the weather was decent yesterday and I had some time off, I wheeled her out of the garrage:
Some of that polishing and waxing is paying off me finks!
Then I re-fitted all of the hoses because I fancied a drive (first dry day in ages!!!).
Next on the agenda is to replace all the brakes+hoses. I have already bought all the parts but our wonderful weather is holding me back! grrrrr. I think I need to get the rocker cover painted too.
Longer term plans are to uprade the suspension and brakes, strip her out and fit some buckets (and maybe a cage), and to do a few tasty upgrades on the engine. She is definately an ongoing project

She will be getting very well looked after; as with all of my cars alot of time will be invested Its also good to see a few more grale' owners on here too! I am on Lanciasport btw...
The car will be seen at the Shopshire meets for sure!
Im still not sure which direction to go though really; I will definaetly be keeping it original looking but as I will be using her for trackdays, I will be making a few 'tastefull' modifications. I am also thinking of doing some hillclimbs (im not far away from Loton Park), I think stripping her out and a cage may become a necessity. This will come later though!
