my Polo......selling it to open up some funds for the new projects



my new project, another mk1 Golf Driver......it's getting a 1.4 engine that puts out a little over 100 bhp & i'm planning on it been very light (750kg "ish&quot, so power to weight should be good



its now not as green in the picture, needs some welding.....but thats not a problem cos my brother Matt does paint & bodywork for a living

it's restored.....full respray on the outside & in the boot

needs the engine pulling out so i can finish cleaning the bay & paint the motor/box

other than that there's only the drivers seat bolster to get re-trimmed & a 3 inch tear in the headlining to repair

i'm hoping to keep it forever

Red one looks mint! Forgive my ignorance, but where did the Driver fit in the Golf range - is it like the old Renault 5 (and Clio) Campus?

the driver is the step down from the gt (carb fed gti) think of it as the golf 'sport'
