The Mk1 is a Helios Blue Campaign model with all the usual Campaign trimmings. It's got 155k on the clock. Some of the spec includes - bare metal respray, debadged, colour coded mirrors and bumpers, lowered 40mm.
Engine is a Mk2 8v Stage 1 with Audi throttle body, flushed inlet manifold and downpipe, K&N panel filter, KS pistons and Jetex exhaust - RR at 120bhp at the wheels.
Interior has momo pedals/gear knob/steering wheel, guages in centre console. Otherwise standard interior.

It's a deceptive shot of the Audi. It has the sports suspension on it so it sits 20mm lower anyway, and with the Gmbh kit it just looks lower than it actually is!
It's hard to compare the handling of the Clio with the Golf - a standard 4 yr old car with a modified 23yr old car. If the Golf were on standard suspension the Clio would win hands down, but they are pretty similar now. I'd say now the Clio is a bit sharper and tighter, but the driving position makes it a bit off-putting sometimes - you feel like you are on it rather than in it.
I'd say the Golf brings more of a smile to my coupon than the Clio!
