I've been reading this forum on and of for a couple of months now so thought I'd post my latest (in a long line of 4) 205 GTI

140,000 miles (doesn't seem it mind), phase 2, 1.9.

Almost standard except for a fancy head unit, speakers in the parcel shelf and its VERY low. Far too low for my liking, and it seems like its just been lowered with shortened and stiffened springs so the ride is ridiculously crashy and stiff.

But it was a hell of a bargain at £1000 compared to some of the silly priced 205s you see now.

And another photo of mine and the girlfriends XSi just cause I really like the photo!

two lovely cars,

i prefer the 205, but that photo shows just how close the P1 106 is to it's predecessor, are they noticably smaller, because it never seemed to me like they were

just need to Get a Phase 1 GTI6 and a 405 Mi16 together now to complete the look

blimey, thats some shiney paintwork!
Is it just a liberal coat of wax or did you spend hours on it?!

Looks just like my old one...albeit a little more reflective!

Previous owner had it buffed up, so makes it nice and easy for me to keep it shiney smile

I always reckon the 106s are bigger than 205s, on the outside, but smaller on the inside.
