Compared to the Capp...
Pros:
- It's faster
- It has more grip
- You can drive it sedately like you would a "normal" car rather than needing to thrash it everywhere
- It's more comfortable/refined
- Everything works and the paintjob looks good
Cons:
- Steering feel isn't as good (but then the Capp had no power steering)
- Gear change isn't as rifle-bolt accurate
- It doesn't have that ever-entertaining turbo kick in the back
It's basically not quite as entertaining to drive, but when you're heading to work at 7am in the cold and the dark, it's a much, much nicer place to be. Then it can still be taken for a blast later If I was in a situation to run two cars, I'd possibly have the Capp over the MR2 as my "fun" one just for the smile it puts on your face, but I'm very happy with this as a compromise.

A little bit wider than the Capp so you might have to wait while others make right turns and less smiles and more attempts at racing you from others
Another advatage tho' is almost instant top down
Unless you have break-in or vandalism worries you can permantly stored the hard top in your attic you wont need it and if you keep it on you'll miss many open top drives during the dry and sometimes warm weather during autumn, winter and spring

Nice motor, I was thinking of you when I passed a capp on fri night on M62, reminded me just how tiny they are!
(and there are not many cars that look tiny when you are in a smart roadster!)
Haha, absolutely. I've had the Capp parked next to a Mini before and it STILL looked tiny.(and there are not many cars that look tiny when you are in a smart roadster!)

Incedentally I was driving to Jaik's to pick up some tuning goodies
