Hi , Triumph Spitfire MK4 . Guy Croft built 1660 supercharged twin cam . 650 Kg . 200 bhp . And V. beautifull .

Thanks , but built by talented auto engineer from Bristol , Kev . I just look at it in wonder . It is about to go to another talented builder to be finished off . Cant wait !! will post some pics on completion .

you are one brave man, 200BHP through a spit chassis? That will be one handfull! Love it, I hope the bonnet doesn't need a bulge to clear the engine.

Fiat 131 twin cam , it did have a wicked Spit engine fully fitted with nitrous system but Kev the builder decided to go this route instead without even testing the Triumph set up . And as it goes he sold the nitrous system to a guy who fitted it to his scooter !!
Must say it is good to see such a variety of tasty motors on this forum , I am used to seeing Triumphs only . Certainly makes it clear just how many enthusiasts are out there .

Hello Elan+2 ( Elan is one of my other favourites --- love small cars ).
I think I will need a small bulge over the distributer , but should n't be too bad if we can turn it round 180 deg . All the rear transmission and suspension is uprated including lim'slip Quaiffe and special drive shafts/prop shaft , alloy uprights and diff housing and V. light wheels , so I hope it will withstand the engine .
