I bought this car from my Dad for £1000, he had a bump in it and just left it, it had been sitting for 9 Months doing nothing.

Its a Ford Focus 1.8 16v Zetec, with 91000 miles, its got a few extras including, A/C, quickclear front screen, traction control and rear discs.

It failed the MOT on brake imbalance, emmisions and a wiper. So I bought a new Lambda, rear silencer (it was rotten), front pads and oil and filter, did most of the work myself, with a little help from my Dad.

Passed its second MOT with one advisory, damage to offside.

It had this damage to it:

I bought a brand new wing and a second hand door (not in pic).

It had a new timing belt, tensioners and pulleys fitted for £204

I then had it sprayed for the sum of £350, this was to spray the door, wing, repair the O/S/R passenger door, repair and spray the front bumper and sort out a deep scratch on the bootlid.

I had it back lastnight and gave it a good clean today. I removed all the wheels, cleaned them inside and out, cleaned the arch liners, washed and waxed the body work, blackened up the plastic trim, cleaned the exterior glass and vacuumed and polished the interior.

Thanks for reading.

Good work, I had a 1600 3 door, and they drive very nicely for what they are.

Blimey that doesn't look like it's been repaired. Can you see the repair any light?

Thanks for all your comments.

You can tell its been repaired, I made the mistake of buying a cheap panel, so it doesn't line up properly and there is a slight run on the paint work, but for the price and considering how old the car is. I'm extremely happy smile
