About time I started a thread for my new motor, bought about a month ago to replace the Charger. It's a 1960 Ford Ranch Wagon done in a 60s custom style. There is a six page feature in Custom Car this month...

Here's a few photos I took a couple of weeks ago...

It's running a 352 V8 which is pretty stock bar the Bellflower exhausts.

I have to admit that I know very little about these cars, but that looks fantastic! I love the rear exhaust.

Good luck with it!

Thanks everyone cool

Not sure the headliner will stay to be honest, it rubs on your head and is very hot in there!

I think the Ghostbusters car was a '59 Caddilic Ambulance, even bigger that this.

Here's an engine shot...

Future plans:

I've already fitted central locking as there was no way to lock it before. The locks are shaved off the outside.
Fit some decent gauges so I can see what the engine is up to.
Fit some tunes, no radio currently.
New door rubbers as they are very crusty.
Air bags at the back so I can raise it up to clear speed bumps or when loaded up.
Some sort of brake upgrade would be a good idea, manual drums all round currently.

Haha that's got to be a bit scary in something of that size. Got to start braking the day before!
